Color grades are from D to Z. Colorless and near colorless diamonds are the most valuable. As you move down the grade, you’ll be able to see slight hint of yellow.

• FL – IF :: No inclusions are visible to a skilled grader using 10x magnification. Extremely rare, less than 1 in 5000 diamonds are graded as FL and less than 3% are graded as IF.
• VVS1 – VVS2 :: Inclusions are very very slightly included. Difficult for skilled grader to see under 10x magnification. Inclusions in VVS1 are only visible from pavilion and in VVS2, from crown. Impossible to see from naked eye.
• VS1 – VS2 :: Inclusions are very slightly included. Visible through 10x magnification but can be declared as minor. Not visible through naked eye. Only 1% of untrained observers can detect inclusions with the naked eye on close inspection under ideal conditions.
• SI1 – SI2 :: Inclusions are noticeable to skilled grader through 10x magnification. SI1 is invisible through naked eye, SI1 can be visible.
• I1 – I2 – I3 :: Inclusions are visible in I1 diamonds through naked eye. In I2 and I3, inclusions are profound and may affect durability.

The weight of the diamond is measure in carats (ct.). A carat, is equal to exactly 0.2 grams. As the carat weight increases, the price of the diamond increases.

No two diamonds are the same. Therefore, you must weigh in cut, color, clarity and carat weight when making your diamond selection.
